Update: After a rainy day and weather delays, GRC placed 7th in prelims in a lineup that included many state finalists. GRC fell to 8th place in finals, switching places with a much improved West Jessamine band.
On Saturday, September 17, the GRC Marching Band will travel to Lexington for The Lafayette Invitational Band Contest. You will not want to miss the lineup at this show! Many of the area’s finest bands will be performing. This show is unique in that it will have an educational clinic following each performance. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of for our first show out.
