On Friday, August 31, the GRC Cardinals will face the Bulldogs of Paul Lawrence Dunbar. The GRC Band will perform part of this year’s completion show at halftime.
- 3:35 – Go directly to bus loading area, board shuttle to RDC
- 3:45 – Shuttle Busses Leave GRC
- 4:15 – Unload the truck, move equipment to stadium
- 4:45 – Horn arc/flag block in front of Old ATC/Maintenance Building
- 5:15 – Rehearsal begins on the field
- 6:00 – Clear field, eat dinner
- 7:15 – National Anthem
- 7:30 – Kickoff
- 8:30 – Halftime performance
- 9:00 – Load truck, dismiss
- 9:30- Unload truck at GRC
Students will wear their show shirt, which they will receive the day of the game, and Khaki shorts. Guard will wear all black. No make up, sunglasses, or hats allowed. Hair must be up and off of the collar.
We need all available parents to assist with equipment loading, unloading, and moving to and from the stadium from the truck for the halftime performance. If you are able to assist, please email Al and Vonda – operations@grcband.com.
