Symphonic Band
(M/W/F 9:43-10:43, T/R 9:13-10:43)
The Symphonic Band at GRC is the premier music ensemble in the band program. By director recomendation only, this ensemble performs advanced high school wind literature, grades 4-5. Symphonic Band students are strongly encouraged to take private lessons, own their own high quality instrument, and practice regularly. Students are also encouraged to audition for All State, All-District, and participate in various collegiate honor band experiences.

Concert Band
(M/W/F 8:35- 9:45, T/R 8:35-9:05)
The Concert Band at GRC is designed as an entry way into advanced band literature, performing music grades 2.5-3.5. Typically made up of underclassmen, the concert band performs throughout the year. It’s members, along with the symphonic band, make up the Pep Band.
